The primary purpose for this mission’s trip can be summed up in yesterday’s theme: God is Love. We love because He first loved us.
How can you know if God is love? In many of the same ways we see it in our lives. Love often requires sacrificial giving of time, talent, and treasure to someone who has no way to “return the favor.”
To help the children understand and remember God’s love, the craft time included making wordless bracelets. Here is the one I wore yesterday.

The red bead is important and is explained in Spanish.

You might not know Spanish so here is the Bible verse for that bead: Romans 5:8

God showed His love for us. How did he show His love? John 3:16 provides the answer. He sent His Son Jesus. But we have to agree with God about our sin and accept the gift He gave. That is what is foundational for believing that results in eternal life.
We were also able to send out five teams to deliver Mercy Waters filtration buckets. Two teams rode to the families who need clean water in a way that wouldn’t fly in the USA.

Our team helped four families. Dr. Norma was our translator.

I almost forgot to share some pictures of the Bible lesson, memory verse time, craft time, and game time…

Today is our last day for VBS. We also plan to deliver more water filtration buckets.
Thanks for praying!
