Sunday was a wonderful day. After breakfast we went to the church in Saint Martin to participate in their worship service. Our associate pastor and his wife lead the songs and our lead pastor gave an excellent message about why prayer matters and why it is important.

The church then served lunch before we left for the school where we set up the rooms and main game area for Vacation Bible School. On the was we stopped at a beautiful overlook to see God’s amazing creation.

Part of our setup is to assemble water filter buckets with the kits we received from Mercy Waters. Mitch and I assembled 21 kits.

Here is the main “stage” for VBS.

The Lord has helped us each step of the way. I’m looking forward to helping and teaching the children.

Here is what Matthew 19:13-15 says:

Then children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples qrebuked the people, but Jesus said, r“Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” And he laid his hands on them and went away.

The children were an object lesson of faith and dependence on Jesus for kingdom entry.
