Newlywed Michigan Adventure

When you get married, it is wise to help each other with chores. These days I like washing the dishes, but during the first week I suspect that Cindie did most of the cooking and the washing of dishes. Of course, we also ate a couple of meals in restaurants, but that was the exception, rather than the norm.

My job was to keep the Ford Coachmen plumbing and systems working. There certainly was a learning curve and the Ford dealer did not tell me everything I needed to know. However, we figured it out and got things moving.

Before we got to Canada, one of our stops was a campground in Michigan. I don’t recall much about that brief stop, as our destination was Canada.

When We Work Together

Most things in life are best done with two heads and four hands. “Two heads are better than one.” “Many hands make light work.” So it is with marriage. Wisdom is something that can be gained from your spouse. Of course, that means one has to ask for wisdom and help. You also have to be willing to accept the wisdom and help.

“If the iron is blunt, and one does not sharpen the edge, he must use more strength, but wisdom helps one to succeed.” Ecclesiastes 10:10
