Newlywed Canadian Adventure

Recently our basement got a bit wet when the sump pump stopped consistently pumping. That prompted us to start to get rid of stuff we no longer need or want. Some of it goes into the trash, some is given to interested family members, and some is donated to Goodwill or to other causes. But during my basement file cabinet cleaning efforts I found a folder that reminded me of our first week together as husband and wife.

Rather than write extensively about this journey, I think it is best to share some pictures. There is the announcement in the Milwaukee Journal about our marriage license and a note in the Garfield Baptist Church Sunday bulletin about our upcoming marriage.

Also, the pictures were taken the old-fashioned way – with a camera. The water was cold at the Silver Sands family campground in Huntsville Ontario Canada.
